Public Notice – Lead Service Line Inventory Project
The Village's engineering consultant, Barton & Loguidice, is currently marking out water curb stops throughout the Village in preparation for hydro excavation ("potholing") as part of the Lead Service Line Inventory Project.
Beginning in September, crews will use hydro excavation to expose water service lines at each curb stop and identify the pipe material for both the publicly and privately owned portions of each service line. This work is required to comply with state and federal drinking water regulations.
Residents may notice utility markings and work crews in their neighborhoods during this process. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important project moves forward.
